He’s finally here!

Joe at the Hospital
Joe at the Hospital

So its with much fanfare that I wish to introduce you to, Joe Nikolas Tamachat Vass. He was born on the 12th October at Phayathai Hospital Bangkok at 8.05am weight was 2.79Kg Quite small but absolutely fine. My first thoughts are that he looks quite like Ben! We are now back home and Joe is settling in nicely. Just like Ben he is quite (no screaming in the middle of the night), but already we can see he knows what he likes and dislikes Next weekend Ben is coming to stay so we will see what my son’s make of each other for the first time. It should be interesting!

My Little Monster Munch

Last weekend Ben came to stay in Bangkok. We had such a lovely time.

Friday Night we went to the Fair Ground. He loved the big wheel and all the flashing lights. They even had a small roller coaster for children which he loved.

Saturday was Aquarium Day. He was fascinated by all the things swimming behind glass. That was, until he fell fast asleep.

In the Evening we got him dressed up in his new suit. He looked so cute then out to dinner at a nice restaurant. He managed to try just about everything we ordered much to the waitresses amazement.

Not Sure about the Swing!

Sunday. A day to relax in the park. Ben managed a whole lap of the park just holding on to one hand. He is so close to walking alone now. The only thing he wasn’t sure about, was the swing. Give him time I am sure he will love it when he understand.

A good Night Out

Sleeping Beauties!
Sleeping Beauties!

Last Night we took all the Family and Staff out for dinner. It was a thank you for all the hard work to come while we are away. Ben and Nong Lemon were pretty good. Nong Lemon slept the whole time while Ben was 90% awake and totally interested in everything. He even tried Melon and Mint Sorbet along with a very small amount of my Cherries flambéed in Kirsch! I have to say he looked as if he enjoyed everything. (I have a feeling he is going to take after me and LOVE good and varied food)

We are just starting to think about feeding him other things now. On looking it up it does say we can start with Orange juice and adding some cereal to his milk. Probably not best to start him with Cherries flambéed in Kirsch though!
