Now Joe is over 3 Months old so Kwan and I decided it was time for his first swim. We bought a lovely little pair of swimming trunks that are lined to stop him doing things in the pool. He didn’t scream once. Good Boy. Just not so sure about the colour!
It’s that time of year again!. Next year is the big one that I am not looking forward too, the big five O!
I think it’s time everyone new I am going to be a daddy for the second time. ( Horray, The last time as well I hope. ) Kwan is now 20 weeks pregnant and the baby is strong and health. This month’s scan showed us all his finger and toes and his face! At 4 1/2 months you can’t really see what he is going to look like but it’s still amazing what technology can do these days. It’s another little boy (groan), I really wanted a little girl but never mind, He is due on October the 18th so Ben is going to have a half brother.
Thinking about names right now. Why is it so hard to find the right name. I want something short like Ben so right now the list includes Joe, Sam, Max etc. Any suggestions gratefully received!
After 1 Year and 6 Months, at long last Ben called me Daddy! Yeeeaaaahhhh!
It sounds really funny but such a nice feeling. He definately knows who I am and the number of words he is speaking is growing very quickly. Still very little English, I guess I am not spending enough time on that right now. Plenty of time though.
I cant blame everything on my ISP provider but for the last 7 weeks I couldn’t figure out what was wrong until I relised that my ISP had changed the fixed IP address of this site without telling me! Anyway, the site is back up now so hopefully I will get back to updating things more.
Last weekend Ben and I had a lovely time on the beach. He is now saying about 20 words and clearly understands much more. He is tearing around picking up everything he can get his hands on and you need eyes in the back of your head 24/7 right now.
My little Monster is really starting to show his character now.
Ben has been in Bangkok this weekend. We have been really busy with him. Dragging him everywhere he was so tired on Satuday night he just crashed out.
Never mind he was spark awake and being totaly cute for Sunday lunch at the Pub. He is going to be a little lady killer. All he wants is big hugs and kisses from pretty girls. I hate to think what is going to happen when he works out what that little weena between his legs is really for……. For those of my friends that understand me, the English expression “A chip off the old block” comes to mind.
Last weekend Ben came to stay in Bangkok. We had such a lovely time.
Friday Night we went to the Fair Ground. He loved the big wheel and all the flashing lights. They even had a small roller coaster for children which he loved.
Saturday was Aquarium Day. He was fascinated by all the things swimming behind glass. That was, until he fell fast asleep.
In the Evening we got him dressed up in his new suit. He looked so cute then out to dinner at a nice restaurant. He managed to try just about everything we ordered much to the waitresses amazement.
Sunday. A day to relax in the park. Ben managed a whole lap of the park just holding on to one hand. He is so close to walking alone now. The only thing he wasn’t sure about, was the swing. Give him time I am sure he will love it when he understand.
I am not sure what Ben made of his frst Christams. Seems to me he was more interested in the Wrapping paper than his presents. I am sure it had to do with the bright colors and being able to rip it to pieces. Hey Ho thats what Christmas is all about.
No! Daddys Nose doesnt come off!
Aftere the presents we spent the rest of the day on the Beach. Very nice.
This Week I have been in Bangkok again finishing Sa’s Visa’s and fixing some things for me and other people so I havn’t had much time for master Ben. But’ yet again he is growing anf changing. Friday we took him swimming for the third time and he was very nearly afloat all on his own.
It’s only 10 days now until Ben goes to England and lots of other places so we will be very busy this week sorting everything out and getting things in order. I feel quite confident that Ben will be fine on the 10 Hour flight to England. A least I think I do!
The poor little Mite has a right stinker of a cold. We took him to the Hospital this aftrnoon and he sneezed all over the doctor. Now his nose is streaming like a tap. But the most amazing thing of all, He is still smiling. I really don’t understand at all!
The worst bit is that I am getting the blame as we went swimming again yesterday. Ho hum, oh well, that’s life.
